Cross training has been gaining interest in the fitness world for quite
some time. It’s easy to see why when you look at some of the advantages
it holds over conventional training such as the reduced likelihood of
injury and improved conditioning. For me personally it is a massive part
of my routine.
That’s why this book caught my attention. Modern
life can be hectic and I found myself struggling to fit in each of my
gym sessions. This book gives you an alternative option. The exercises
are done using only your bodyweight meaning no equipment is needed. The
major benefit this gives you is that fitting a workout session in
suddenly becomes much easier. I don’t need to drive to the gym as I can
do my full routine from home.
Another major positive is the sheer
number of workouts included. Not every workout is suited to every
person so to be able to choose from such a wide variety means you can
make sure to choose the best one for you personally. The photos were
also a nice addition, it’s always nice to get a visual aid when learning
something as it makes it easier and quicker to take on board the
information.
Overall I have to say I’m impressed. This guide is
extremely practical and the workouts deliver results. I’ve maintained my
muscle mass since switching to one of the workouts in the guide and
have also saved money by cancelling my gym membership.
